ODP Architecture & Design is leading the architectural vision for Waldorf Astoria’s first-ever development in Sarasota, an 18-story residential tower rising at Main Street and Pineapple Avenue, steps from Sarasota Bay. Designed to merge the sophistication of the Waldorf Astoria brand with the city’s legacy of Florida Modern architecture, the tower features iconic dancing balconies, enhanced floor-to-floor heights, and a façade shaped directly by interior layouts to maximize light, openness, and premium views.
The project includes 86 private residences with private elevator access, long and expansive floor plans, and circulation defined by architectural portals that create moments of drama and residential elegance. More than 50,000 square feet of amenities—including Peacock Alley, a world-class spa, fitness and Pilates studios, guest suites, and a movie theater lounge—extend to three-quarters of an acre of outdoor experiences with a resort-style pool, cold plunge, hot tub, recreational lawns, and gardens. A refined arrival sequence offers valet, a porte-cochère, private access points, and signature services such as a house Rolls-Royce, private golf cart service, and day yacht.
With 42,000 square feet of Class A commercial space and design developed in close collaboration with Waldorf Astoria’s brand team, the project establishes a new benchmark for luxury living on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2026.
